A Brief Bio

Hello.  My name is Sean McDowell, and I have been teaching in the Altoona Area School District since 2007.  I greatly enjoy every minute of it, and I love seeing the students grow.  I began my educational career at Wright Elementary then attended Keith Junior High and Altoona Area High School.  Upon graduation in 2001, I enrolled in Penn State - Altoona where I graduated in December 2007.  During my collegiate years, I was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard.  I was deployed twice - to Kosovo and to New Orleans.  I enjoy watching sports especially football (Let's go Irish and 49ers).  I also love spending time with my wife and two sons - Liam and Owen.   I'm looking forward to a great year and please don't hesitate to contact me if you need anything.
