Special Education

At Juniata Gap Elementary, there is a full-time special education staff in house that consists of three Learning Support Teachers, one Emotional/ Autistic Support Teacher, ESP and one Speech and Language Pathologist.

Ms. Bethany McCarl- Emotional/ Autistic Support

Ms. Megan Wible - ESP

Mrs. Ericka Weyandt- Speech and Language Pathologist

 

Additional support services are available throughout the school. Those supports may include Occupational and Physical Therapy, along with Hearing and Visual Support. Our support staff works alongside the general education classroom teachers to ensure that all students have his/her needs met in  his/her least restrictive environment.
